Sex and Gender Analysis in Research Training
Understanding and integrating sex and gender analysis into research and innovation is crucial to advancing cardiovascular health for women. To ensure best practice in CARAMEL research, we have developed a dedicated ‘Integrating Sex and Gender Analysis in Research’ training programme for researchers and healthcare professionals.
This course introduces key concepts and practical tools to integrate sex and gender analysis across each phase of the research process, from identifying the research questions to interpreting and communicating results. The training supports our mission to address sex and gender bias in cardiovascular disease research, treament and prevention.
On completion, participants will:
- Understand the significance, relevance and meaning of sex and gender analysis in research.
- Grasp key determinants and principles of sex and gender analysis in research.
- Identify and offset the potential risks of sex and gender bias prompted by the absence of sex and gender analysis.
Start the training today and help shape a more inclusive, impactful research culture.
